Singer/songwriter Todd Koeppen has been in front of audiences for most of his life. The Southern Oregonian native’s first real gig came when he was 11-years-old and was asked by a regional classical music group to sing the boy soloist part for Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. By his senior year in High School he was playing piano bar at local clubs, and he began forming bands and writing songs with friends in college.
In 2001 Todd found a new calling as a worship leader at a church in Seattle. His songwriting changed to reflect his faith and he wrote and recorded CDs of contemporary worship music – No Ladder (2003) and Catch Me (2006) – that received airplay across the U.S. and saw him being twice named to Christianity Today’s annual list of “10 Independent Artists You Should Know.”
In 2008 Todd wrote “The Gospel of John – a musical journey” – a live, one-man show that Todd performed almost exclusively for seven years. Through that time the show evolved into a full band, crowd-funded studio project that was released in 2013.
Todd's newest album, "Turn Down the World" launched in April of 2021.
Todd's ministry has been featured on UNI's worldwide syndicated "Outlook" program, the nationally syndicated "Crosstones" radio show, and JCTV's internationally broadcast "Exit 16" program.
In addition to recording, performing and songwriting, Todd is director of worship at Journey Community Church in Tacoma, WA. In 2020 Journey teamed up with Todd to produce "Christmas Conversations" - a 5-episode YouTube series using story and song to explore the Christmas story.
